Alarm Response – Overview
G-TEC Security has a casual agreement with alarm system providers to respond to their clients’ alarms. We always strive to attend alarms in the shortest amount of time possible. We adhere to the Australian Standard ‘AS/NZS 4421:2011’
This does not include alarms which need obvious travel time to attend, adding time and costing to travel to jobs in the Riverina is unavoidable.
Travel to rural areas: We will strive to get to the alarm as quickly as we can, while adhering to all road rules and while managing company fatigue policy and within our operational requirements. There will be an additional travel charge for out-of-town alarms or jobs based on distance.
Patrols and Alarm Response
This is a shared service and patrol times may vary each night depending on the circumstances. Alarm volume is the primary factor influencing patrol attendance; however other situations- such as a guard remaining on site due to a break-in- can also impact scheduling.
Security is a dynamic and fast-moving industry, and no two nights are ever the same. In the event that patrols to your site are reduced due to unforeseen circumstances, a credit will be applied to your account at the end of the month. When possible, we also provide additional patrols on quieter nights to maintain balance and service quality.
Extra Staff
If we experience exceptionally high demand or delays such as extended wait times for key holders – we have the ability to deploy additional guards to attend alarm responses. This service incurs an additional cost, which will only be applied with the client’s prior approval.’
